Verify a contact before you depend on it
Deliverability checks for email addresses and validation for phone numbers — format, line type, reachability — so that outreach lands, invoices arrive and your sender reputation stays intact.
- Email checks
- Syntax, domain, mailbox, catch-all, disposable
- Phone checks
- Format, country, line type, reachability
- Nothing sent
- No message or call is placed to verify
What is checked
Technical checks on the contact details you already hold — nothing is sent to the person.
-
Email deliverability
Syntax, domain records, mailbox existence and catch-all detection, queried against the domain's mail servers without sending a message.
-
Disposable and role addresses
Temporary mailboxes and generic role addresses (info@, contact@) are flagged so you can route them appropriately.
-
Phone format and country
International normalisation, country detection and dialling-code check for every number.
-
Line type
Landline, mobile, VoIP or premium-rate — the information you need to decide how to place the call.
-
Company check
Confirm that the company behind a contact still exists and that its published address matches your record.
How a verification runs
-
01
Enter the contact detail
An email address or a phone number, exactly as it appears in your system.
-
02
Technical checks run
Domain and mailbox queries for email; numbering-plan and line-type checks for phone.
-
03
Read the verdict
Deliverable, risky or undeliverable; valid or invalid, with the reason.
-
04
Act on your record
Correct, keep or retire the record in your CRM — the decision stays with you.
Verdicts and what to do with them
Each result comes with a status and a recommended action.
| Status | Meaning | Suggested action |
|---|---|---|
| Deliverable | The mailbox exists and accepts mail | Safe to use |
| Catch-all | The domain accepts every address | Use with caution; cannot be confirmed individually |
| Undeliverable | The mailbox or domain does not exist | Retire the record |
| Valid line | The number follows the numbering plan and is assigned | Safe to call |
| Invalid line | Wrong format or unassigned range | Correct or retire the record |
Where verification earns its keep
-
01
Before a campaign
Verify the addresses of a sequence to keep bounce rates low and your sending domain in good standing.
-
02
Customer onboarding
Check the billing email and phone of a new customer so that invoices and notifications actually arrive.
-
03
CRM migration
Re-verify contact fields when consolidating two systems and retire records that no longer resolve.
-
04
Supplier master data
Confirm that the contact details of a supplier still work before an order or a payment notice.
One subscription, stated in full
Access to PeopleSearch is sold as a monthly subscription that starts with a 48-hour trial. Both amounts are shown here with the same prominence, because both will appear on your card statement.
Full access to every search and report during the trial period.
Charged automatically at the end of the trial, then every month until you cancel.
Good to know
- The trial converts into the monthly subscription at €39.90 unless it is cancelled before the 48 hours end.
- Up to 20 detailed reports per month; searches are subject to the fair-use terms of the service.
- Cancellation takes effect immediately and no further payment is taken.
Prices in euros, VAT included. The subscription renews automatically each month. Cancel at any time from your account or the cancellation page.
Does verification send an email or place a call?
No. Email checks query the domain's mail servers; phone checks use numbering-plan data. The person is never contacted.
Why is an address marked as catch-all?
Because the domain accepts every address, which makes individual confirmation impossible. Treat such addresses as unverified.
Can I verify a whole file at once?
No. Checks run one at a time in your account.
Is verification included in the subscription?
Yes. Email and phone verification are part of the single subscription, within its fair-use terms.
Ready to work with cleaner contact data?
Start with the trial, then keep the subscription only if it earns its place in your toolkit. Cancelling takes one step.
Prices are shown in euros including VAT. The subscription renews monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
